Irkutsk - Fort Ross

San Francisco, 07.20.99

"...Now we are in San Francisco. My big trouble is - I forgot to get my software for Epson - camera in Sarah's house, that is why I have a rest of sending pictures, I'm very sorry. Today we were at the Russian General Consulate at lunch. It was very interesting talk between us and General Consul. We should to do many projects here and there (in Irkutsk): commercial, educational, cultural and so on. They are interested in the dialog between Irkutsk and San Francisco. We are enjoyed a lot. Breck gave me his camera "Hewlett Packard"...
...Today we are going to Breck house. He promised to get us to Berkeley university tomorrow. It will be great. After that we plan go to Fort Ross - to Living History Day. We should prepare for that. It will be on Saturday. And after that we will visit San Francisco again. We will left SF on 28th of July. We will be in Moscow on 29th of July. Our departure of Moscow will be on 31st of July in 18:10 (SU 729)...."
(From a letter of Elena Emelyanova to home)

"...On July 20, the Russian Consulate was gracious in providing a bus the next day for the long journey across the Golden Gate Bridge to the Marine Mammal Center, where educator Mr. Graham Charles graciously donated his time to give a tour of the facility which cares for sick or injured marine mammals..."
(From a letter of Sheryl Cowan - Neo - to Irkutsk)
